"This solar installation powers both our classrooms and our curriculum, showing pupils sustainability in action." — Peniel CP School Administrator
Solar Save Renewables was engaged to design and install a solar PV system for Peniel CP, a primary school in Carmarthenshire. After carefully assessing the school’s energy consumption patterns, building design, and available roof space, Solar Save proposed a solution consisting of 100 x 405W first-class integrated in-roof solar panels. This high-quality system was paired with a Solar Edge system to optimize energy production and efficiency. With a total power capacity of 40.50 kWp, the PV system was expected to generate 35.52 MWh of clean electricity annually, significantly reducing the school's reliance on grid electricity. Additionally, the system was projected to save 6.78 tons of CO2 emissions each year, equivalent to planting 311 trees annually.
