"The system's been running for just a few weeks so far, and because it is a sunny May/June the difference it has made is remarkable. Prior to having the PV our daily usage varied from about 7.5kWh to 12kWh, averaging around 9kWh. Since we've had the panels our daily usage hasn't exceeded 5kWh, and most days is 2-3kWh, averaging around 3kWh. It is amazing that on some days we can have two or three rings on the hob cooking lunch, the computer on, and the washing machine on, and our usage monitor showing 0kWh mains consumption, because the panels are providing all the power. Our electricity supplier is now reading our unused generated power from our smartmeter, so we should start to get a small amount of money back for this each month.
