Timberlink is the Midlands’ largest drive-through timber yard. The 13-acre site includes timber treatment and storage facilities.
Operating in a high-energy demand industry, Timberlink faced a challenge: significant electricity use throughout the year. To combat rising energy costs and reduce their carbon footprint, they turned to renewable energy. Seeking a fast and effective solution, Timberlink invested in a 92 kWp commercial solar panel installation to harness the power of the sun.
In their commitment to sustainable energy, Timberlink approached Solar Save Renewables to design and implement a 92kWp solar power system. This system, made up of 236 solar panels, was specifically tailored to meet the energy needs of their 13-acre site. After conducting a thorough roof survey, we carefully positioned the panels to optimise sunlight absorption and maximise energy generation throughout the year.
Timberlink, operating in a high-energy demand industry, sought to reduce both their energy costs and carbon footprint. With this system in place, they now generate a significant portion of their electricity on-site, reducing their reliance on grid power and cutting operational costs. The system is designed to integrate seamlessly with Timberlink’s infrastructure, providing a smooth transition to renewable energy.
Beyond energy savings, the installation highlights Timberlink's dedication to sustainability and demonstrates their commitment to adopting green technologies.
