The Brief:
We were approached by a client dedicated to sustainable living who sought a solar energy solution capable of storing excess energy and efficiently charging their electric vehicles (EVs). Their goal was to reduce their carbon footprint while incorporating an innovative, eco-friendly solution. The client's key requirements were a solar energy system with battery storage, seamless integration with their existing EV charger, and an affordable, sustainable setup. We were excited to take on this unique challenge and provide a solution that met all of their needs.

The Solution:

After a detailed analysis of the client's energy consumption patterns, location, and EV charging needs, we developed a comprehensive solution that combines solar panels, battery storage, and the client's existing Zappi EV charger.
Solar Photovoltaic (PV) System:
We designed and installed a 4.74 kWp solar PV system on the client's property, strategically positioning the solar array to maximize sunlight exposure and energy generation. The solar panels used are highly efficient, ensuring optimal energy conversion and reliability.
Battery Storage System:
To address the challenge of energy intermittency, we integrated a 17 kWh battery storage system. This allows the client to store excess solar energy generated during the day and use it during periods of low sunlight or high energy demand.
Integrating the Existing Zappi EV Charger:
By seamlessly integrating the existing Zappi EV charger with the newly installed solar PV and battery storage system, we created an efficient solution for sustainable EV charging. The client can now charge their electric vehicles using stored solar energy, eliminating charging costs and reducing reliance on the grid.
