The Brief:
A Case Study of a Fully Integrated Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV2Load System
When our customer approached us with the ambitious goal of designing and installing a fully integrated solar photovoltaic (PV) system, coupled with a high-capacity battery storage solution and Electric Vehicle-to-Load (EV2Load) technology, we were excited to take on the challenge.
Our customer was particulalry interested in utilizing the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology to maximize the potential of their electric vehicle.
Solar PV Project:
Design and Install Solar PV: A 4.68 kWh solar PV system was designed to harness renewable energy from the sun and convert it into electricity for the client's household.
Integrate Battery Storage: A 5.8 kWh battery storage system was integrated to store excess solar energy during the day for later use, ensuring a continuous power supply even during cloudy days or at night.
Implement Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) Technology: The Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system was incorporated to enable the client to use their electric vehicle as a mobile power source to provide electricity to their home or the grid when needed.
Challenges Faced:
System Integration: Ensuring seamless communication and coordination between the solar PV, battery storage, and EV2Load systems to optimize energy usage.
The Solution:
Solar Save Renewables' Solution:
System Design and Integration: After careful research our team of skilled professionals created an innovative and efficient system that will enable the electric vehicle to serve as a mobile power source using the energy generated by the solar panels. We designed and integrated the system, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between the solar PV, battery storage, and Electric Vehicle to load components. We have installed a 4.68 kWh Solar PV system, along with 5.8 kWh Battery Storage and EV2Load (Electric Vehicle-to-Load).
The end result was an advanced renewable system that exceeded the expectations of both our team and the customer.
